Characterizing Language and Motor Development of Racially/Ethnically Diverse Infants and Toddlers with Down Syndrome
Summary
Little is known about how language and motor skills interact in the early development of infants with Down Syndrome (DS). This project will follow infants (6 to 18 months) with and without DS for 12 months to measure language and motor trajectories using a multiple-method approach. The results from this study will inform intervention priorities and strategies to support early development in DS.
