Approximately half of all children with Down syndrome are obese, yet obesity prevention efforts have been neglected. This study will deliver a stakeholder-informed, novel mHealth platform, Early Child Health: Down syndrome (EACH DS), to track health behaviors and identify young children at risk for rapid weight gain. Knowledge generated from this research will inform the optimization and wide-scale implantation of this technology and support the development of just-in-time health-promoting interventions for young children with Down syndrome.
